Augmented Reality Museum
Mobile Application @ Stanford University
The app uses computer vision and augmented reality (AR) to recognize artwork and surface related multimedia content. This approach lets visitors freely follow their interests and share what they learn with their social networks, thus deepening their connection to the work. Importantly, our seamless technology creates a highly personalized experience for each visitor without changing the ethos of the space or adding staff. Beyond just widening the appeal of museums to a younger, tech-driven audience, we’ve witnessed the application bring multiple generations together to explore art and cultural history.
